This subcontract scope includes for the provision of qualified and accredited resources, including the provision of a NATA certified laboratory to the Wheatstone LNG Site Clearing and Preparation Contract for the undertaking of geotechnical tests (civil soil testing) in accordance with but not limited to codes, Project specifications, standards and requirements. Substantial quantities of field tests comprising of density & moisture testing of soil in place and laboratory tests comprising plasticity index, particle size analysis, moisture-density relation, dispersion testing, lime & cement stabilisation and CBR testing of approximately 8.6 million cubic metres of different soil classifications ranging from general fill to rock paving to be carried out over an eighteen (18) month period commencing in September 2012.The site is located at The Wheatstone Project Old Onslow Road Approximately 14km South of Onslow WA.
